The Minister for Taxation
The current Minister for Taxation is Karsten Lauritzen, who was appointed on June 28th, 2015.
Karsten Styrbæk Lauritzen, born October 14th 1983 in Løgstør, son of farmer Jens Lauritzen and Birthe Lauritzen, self-employed.
Member of Parliament for the Liberal Party in North Jutland greater constituency from November 13th 2007. Candidate for the Liberal Party in Hjørring nomination district from 2006.
Spokesman on legal affairs 2011-2015, spokesman on immigration and integration and development 2007-2011. Member of the Legal Affairs Committee, the Defence Committee, the Housing and Urban Affairs Committee and the Gender Equality Committee 2011-2015, the Immigration and Integration Affairs Committee 2007-2015, chairman 2007-2009, and the Foreign Affairs Committee 2007-2015, vice-chairman 2007-2010. Member of the Finance Committee 2010-2011 and the Fiscal Affairs Committee 2007-2011. Member of NATO Parliamentary Assembly 2011. Substitute Member of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly 2011-2015 and the Board of the Danish Inter-Parliamentary Group 2007-2011.
